In an effort to clean up their communities, the City of Grant and the Village of Wallace will continue their nuisance programs, according to public notices recently posted by each community.

The communities’ nuisance officer, West Central Nebraska Development District, Inc., will begin windshield assessments in both communities soon.

Residents with potential nuisance violations will be receive courtesy letters asking them to clear their property.

In Grant, a roll-off dumpster is located just west of the ball fields for disposing non-hazardous goods. White goods/household appliances and metals can be taken to the roll off on the corner of 1st St. and Logan Ave.

In Wallace, a roll off dumpster for non -hazardous goods is located by the Village Office. Those with questions are asked to call their respective community office.
