Western Sky is designated as an official non-profit

The steering committee of Western Sky Community Care Center announced Monday that the IRS has approved its 501c3 application, officially recognizing the entity as its own non-profit.

“We will be getting ahold of our CPA firm and our attorneys at Dvorak Law Grouop, LLC, to begin the process to transition from the fiscal sponsorship agreement to operating as our own non-profit,” the group posted on its Facebook Page.

The other big news from the group was on Wednesday this week, the group, along with the USDA, have a conference call to review questions on the facility’s market study.

“We are having some big pieces of the puzzle coming together, and we are getting close,” the post said.
