Citizens must pay attention to WHO Pandemic treaty

Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

So, why this letter? What’s so important about this World Health Organization (WHO) “Proposed Pandemic Treaty” that you alerted your readers to in March to pay special attention to? I thought I should spend the time and energy to send this “Letter To The Editor” explaining the question further.

You, and I for that matter, are well versed in the numerous inclusions in the proposed Pandemic Treaty that is to be ratified and adopted, on or about March 24, 2024 after undergoing a review and amendment process. The 194 “WHO Member Nations” have been working on this for the last three plus years.

The citizens of Perkins County, and the Perkins County Commissioner members may not be as informed to the provisions of the Pandemic Treaty that usurp the freedoms defined in both The United States’ and The State of Nebraska’s Constitutions. (Usurp means replace.) That’s right, the Pandemic Treaty is binding on member nation states and in the case of the United States of America, it replaces our “We The People” document. It replaces our Constitution in regard to restricting our “God given freedoms” during “a declared pandemic emergency.”

Once finalized, and upon its ratification, the treaty is binding within the jurisdiction of each of the member nations. That means that it’s not subject to adoption by our United States Congress. That means that one “un-elected” man, the WHO Director, dictates the entire process surrounding a “Pandemic Emergency” including defining the emergency, the length of the emergency, “the public health infrastructure,” the lock down type and duration and on and on and on.

I have been following the pandemic restrictions process for two plus years, ever since I had to travel to Holyoke, Colorado shortly after the lock downs were enacted. I encountered the Colorado State Patrol at the common border to Perkins County, flashing lights and signage indicating vaccination passport required for crossing the border. I did not stop and when I returned to the border two hours later the signage was removed and the patrol lights were not flashing. I returned home to find that a Contact Tracing App had been installed on my cell phone, without my knowledge, and it was spotting and tracking my proximity to Covid-19 infected persons. So much for those constitutional freedom guarantees.

I took the initiative to appear before the Perkins County commissioners, citing the burden being placed on Sheriff Brueggeman by the common border issue and alerting them to possible future problems for its citizens.

So, back to the purpose of this letter. Why spell out the above information, what’s the purpose? Well, as you said, “We The People” have to pay attention and become knowledgeable about the effects of this Pandemic Treaty and how its implementation will REQUIRE that whatever is MANDATED be enforced by the government of the jurisdiction, which in this case is the Perkins County government and its representatives.

And, so again, what action am I recommending, or asking to be considered? What actions can “We The People”  take to protect the Constitutional rights enjoyed by the citizens of Perkins County? Simple: form a group that undertakes the education process necessary to inform the citizenry and the commissioners of the pending treaty adoption and its effects on the freedoms of our citizens. Once educated, and discussions are complete, the list of members signs a PROPOSAL requesting that Perkins County be prepared to not act upon Mandated Health Emergency provisions to be placed by The World Health Organization.

Thanks for ALL YOU DO,
