Educate yourself on EPIC tax option

One of the biggest campaign issues and constant frustrations for Nebraskans is our tax burden. Nebraska is ranked the 6th WORST state in the nation for our taxes! As a conservative, small government-leaning state, that is embarrassing and ridiculous.  

LR6CA is currently in the legislature and has been prioritized by Sen. Erdman as an avenue to actually fix the problems in Nebraska. It is also being circulated as an initiative to be addressed on the 2024 ballot. This is a complex issue, and the proposed solution in the EPIC tax option (Eliminate Property Income Corporate taxes) would be a HUGE change. This proposal would change Nebraska to an ONLY consumption tax state, no property, income, business-to-business taxes. It is imperative that citizens learn about it prior to voting, and have opportunities to understand, ask questions, and determine their position on the issue.  

On Sunday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m., there will be a meeting in Madrid at Regier Equipment to provide this opportunity. Mark Bonkiewicz, spokesman for the EPIC option, will join us to present the information and answer questions.  Everyone is welcome to attend. Please join us!
