Puppy Love

Perkins County Elementary second graders, from left, Karsyn Day, Paisley Bottom, Kimberly Bullock and Abby Dodson get some puppy love at Diana Pankonin’s farm during a class tour last week. This year, the second graders are learning about different life cycles such as frogs, butterflies, etc. They even hatched a baby chick in the classroom. The kids got to tour Pankonin’s and saw some day-old puppies and learned about safely handling the puppies. Teachers of the two second grade classes at Perkins County this year are Carissa Cornelius and Sara Pochon.
