Matt Lungin shot rounds of 53 and 48 at Monday’s District D5 golf tournament at Bridgeport’s Jail and Courthouse Rock Golf Course.
Lungrin was the only Wildcat on the course. With only the top three teams and top 10 individual’s qualifying for next week’s Class D state championship at North Platte’s Lake Maloney Golf Course, Lungrin missed out on a trip to state despite his top 20 performance.
Wallace’s final tournament of the season was last Wednesday at Mullen.
Lungrin finished in the top 15 with a final score of 95.
Chase Martin shot 124 and Riley Strawder shot 126.
Combined the group placed seventh.
