I had the opportunity to go watch the Husker men’s basketball team play in their opener against Mississippi Valley State last week in Lincoln. 

The final stats have been compiled for the Perkins County Plainsmen’s 2018 football campaign. 

Perkins County Schools Senior Caden Waitley was named to the 2018 All-State Boys Cross Country Team by the Nebraska Coaches Association.

Started in 1984 by Jack and Pat Karre as Karre Diesel and Repair, Quality Diesel, as it’s known today, is owned by Steve and Brenda McClenahan. 

Collin Swedberg of Wallace has been named a head counselor of the 2018-2019 Nebraska Agricultural Youth Council (NAYC) by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA). 

 Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue recently announced that USDA is awarding grants for 128 projects to increase access to job training, educational and health care services in rural areas.
