LaRae Day stands amongst her variety of merchandise in her store Cotton Empire, which is now located at 110 E. Third St. in Grant.

Cotton Empire moves to permanent location

Cotton Empire has relocated and is open for business at it’s new location, 110 E. Third St. in Grant.

Owners Nick and LaRae Day purchased the business, then Studio Designs, in April 2016 from Jason and Ashleigh Noyes, changing the name to Cotton Empire.

The business was housed in Route 61 Roller Dome for a short time before moving to Deaver Computer Service.

Cotton Empire offers screen printing, embroidery, vinyl and sublimation printing.

Working alongside MaKenzi Spurgin of Ogallala, they also offer boutique clothing including brands such as Cowgirl Tiff jeans, Tin Haul, Twisted X shoes and more.

LaRae said she will be offering Perkins County wear, but will be offering custom orders rather than having a show floor as she had done in the past.

She will continue to keep merchandise at Deaver Computer Service as well for the time being.

LaRae said she is excited to have her own space and a permanent location.
