Country Gardens is April’s Chamber Spotlight

With their season opening set for the weekend, Country Gardens Greenhouse was selected to be the Chamber Business Spotlight for April.

Owner Alicia Patrick presented at the monthly chamber meeting on April 18.

Country Gardens was founded in 1995, and was purchased by Miguel and Alicia Patrick in 2007.

They continue to provide a wide variety of plants and try to add more variety and colors each year.

Country Gardens has five employees. “Chris Wendell is our gardening guru, she has worked at the greenhouse for 19 years,” Patrick said, adding that Miguel is the maintenance man, and daughters Katie and Rachel help out when their schedules allow. Alicia manages the greenhouse.

“Our number one goal is to make our greenhouse a place people want to come to by having great customer service and new plants each season. We want to offer our customers healthy and well cared for plants,” Patrick said.

Country Gardens opened last weekend, April 20 and will continue through roughly Father’s Day weekend, depending on what they have left by then.

Country Gardens is located at 32804 Road 761 in Grant.

Their hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

The greenhouse can be reached at 308-352-4985, or found on Facebook.
