Hutt Enterprises expanding with new shop

Hutt Enterprises, owned by Dennis and Ronda Hutt north of Grant, has big plans in the works. 

For the past few weeks, they’ve been laying the groundwork to pour concrete for a 21,000 square-foot building to expand their welding manufacturing business. 

The business manufactures livestock equipment, such as feed bunks, fencing, gates and panels, and they also do custom metal fabrication and welding and retail steel and metal sales. 

Their livestock equipment is sold in seven states including Nebraska.

Dennis said they’re hoping to be in the new shop, which will carry overhead cranes, by the first of the year. 

In business for nearly 20 years, Hutt Enterprises currently employs six.
