In & Out, Weiss, Lutheran Church recognized by Chamber

Chamber Chatter

The Perkins County Chamber of Commerce meeting was held Thursday, Oct. 20 at 12 noon at the Perkins County Senior Center. There were 12 members present.

Bingo

Bingo was held Sept. 20 at the Perkins County Senior Center. There were about 40 adults and children playing.  They donated items for the Perkins County Food Pantry and chamber donated $5 in greenbacks to the winners.

Upcoming Events

Mark your calendar for these upcoming events: Oct 31—Trick or Treat Street, 4-5 p.m. downtown, and Westview will open for trick or treaters; Christmas Open House Nov. 17, 5-8 p.m. with the theme “O’ Christmas Tree”. There will also be the new addition of Christmas Cruise night on Dec. 3.

In & Out Car Wash

Business Spotlight was In & Out Car Wash with Amy Kroeker representing the business. The car wash opened Oct. 7. Four tiers of washes are available ranging from $8-$14. Payments can be made with cash, credit or debit card, and also with the UWash App.  

The UWash app is available for download on your mobile device, but not available at the Imperial car wash. The app will track your washes and after 10 you will receive one free. If you have any questions, contact Kasey or Amy.

First Dollar: Weiss Choice

A First Dollar was presented to Weiss Choice LLC.  Kym Weiss is the owner and Jill Johnson is working with Kym on this new project.  

Kym offers IV hydration and nutrition services to Southwest Nebraska. Personal health and wellness with hydration infusions. The business is located in Imperial, Grant, and Ogallala. Kym can be reached at 308-314-0234.

Zion Lutheran: Community Focus

Community Focus was the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Heckmann.  

The church just installed new carpet and has changed service times to 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings. They will be participating in Trick or Treat street by Soulful Salvage with annual hot dog stand.

Our next meeting will be Nov. 10 at Noon at Perkins County Senior Center!
