This year’s wheat harvest has more than crossed the halfway point, with much of the dryland crop cut or soon to be. Cutting on the irrigated fields is also underway. Those farmers with wheat and peas are trying to get their wheat in so they can focus on their pea fields, which are ready for harvesting.
