Sandhills State Bank honored as chamber’s November Spotlight

Sandhills State Bank had the honor of being featured as the Perkins County Chamber Spotlight for the month of November.

Representing the bank at the November meeting were Senior Vice President Jane Potts, who has worked with the company for 27 years, and Assistant Vice President Wyatt Clark.

The bank was chartered in 1907 by the Beaumont family, and despite a few name changes since then, it has been a functioning bank for 110 years.

In 1963, the Jackman family owned it as Commercial State Bank and in 1986 it was sold to Harvey Brott and Dr. Warren Orr.

In 2005, Commercial State Bank merged with the Bank of Keystone which included branches in Elsie, Keystone, Arthur and Hyannis.
