Turner on NRD board
The Upper Republican Natural Resources District Board of Directors has recently appointed two new members to the board, filling all the vacant subdistrict seats.
Tyler Turner, a Perkins County native who farms with his father and brother, will be representing subdistrict 8.
Turner’s subdistrict is located in the far northwest corner of Perkins County.
Retired rancher Harry Merrihew is the representative of subdistrict 5, encompassing the east side of the City of Imperial.
Merrihew has served on many boards throughout his life and is eager to contribute his knowledge.
The URNRD Board of Directors meets on the first Tuesday of every month in Imperial and the meetings are open to the public.
