Despite not being able to host the typical fair barbecue this year, Pinnacle Bank, represented by Rod Cornelius and Michelle Ross, still donated $1,300 to the Perkins County 4-H Teens. Each teen will receive $100 to go towards their Washington DC trip in 2021. This year’s wheat harvest is moving into the final stages in Perkins County. Much of the dryland wheat has already been harvested with focus switching to irrigated fields.
Extension Educator Strahinja Stepanovic, a native of Serbia, gazed across a test plot of spring wheat Monday at the Henry J. Stumpf International Wheat Center east of Grant.
