The Village of Venango, a recipient of $5,000 in 2019 from the PCCFF, has used the funds to help with community cleanup and beautification. The Village recently thanked the PCCFF for its partnership.

“We appreciate so much the help we were given through the Perkins County Community Foundation Fund,” stated the Village in their thank you. “It benefits Venango residents and makes the community a much better place to live.”

The money from PCCFF was used in Venango to provide a roll-off dumpster for the community. The beautification project in Venango is an ongoing project to clean up the community. This is a way for the Village to provide more services to the community. The community also benefited from funds given in years past from the PCCFF for lights being removed from the old football field.

In future columns you will hear about how the PCCFF has partnered with the other communities in the county for similar projects.

Grant Money Application Deadline Approaching

PCCFF is especially looking to partner with entities who are investing long-term in Perkins County’s future in various different areas. Those with questions are encouraged to call any PCCFF member, Treasurer Michelle Ross, or Chairman Dennis Demmel.
