Hendricks removes name from ballot
Two months away from the general election, Ryan Hendricks has removed his name from the Perkins County School Board ballot.
An incumbent, Hendricks stated his wife is serving as a teacher at PCS this year, and there are four other good candidates interested in filling the seat.
Hendricks has served eight years on the board, and will finish his second four-year term this December.
Superintendent Phillip Picquet said Hendricks has been a great board member and he will be missed, but they will continue to move forward with the good list of candidates running.
The four candidates vying for the three open seats are incumbent Amy Kroeker, Adair Reese, Angela Gloy and Chris Fryzek.
