Perkins County Schools welcomes three new teachers for 2025–26 school year

Perkins County Schools is excited to welcome three new educators to the district this fall, each bringing unique skills, experience, and enthusiasm to their roles.
Peyton Rowley-Woodmancy joins the Perkins County Jr/Sr High School as the new 9th–10th grade English teacher. In addition to teaching English, she will coach Speech and take charge of the yearbook. A Perkins County graduate and Grant native, Rowley-Woodmancy returns to her hometown with two years of teaching experience, most recently at Chase County Schools. Her passion for education and deep ties to the community make her a valued addition to the district.
Mallory Perez comes to Perkins County Elementary from Chase County Schools and will be teaching 1st grade this year. Known for her positivity and enthusiasm, Perez brings with her a strong background of training and a wealth of teaching experience. School administrators say her expertise will be a great asset to both staff and students. “We are thrilled to welcome her,” the district said in a statement.
Clifford Swank joins Perkins County Elementary as the K–2 Resource Teacher. This is his first teaching position after serving as a paraeducator at Gering Middle School, where he built a strong foundation in student support. Swank is known for his uplifting energy, can-do attitude, and dedication to helping students succeed. “His excitement to dive in and make a difference is contagious,” the district noted, expressing confidence in the positive impact he will have.
