35 responses in 31 days; GVFD and PC Ambulance report for March

For the 31 days in March a total of 35 responses were recorded for the Grant Fire Department and Perkins County Ambulance.  The March incidents were divided into 12 fire responses and 23 EMS situations.  EMS responses further break down into 6 medical incidents, 7 long distance transfer events, 2 motor vehicle accidents, 4 Flight for Life deployments, and 4 other EMS incident.

The Grant Fire Department says a heartfelt and deeply appreciative thank you to everyone that provided food, snacks, beef jerky, bottled water, electrolyte fluids, etc. during the recent fire activity.   Particular appreciation and special thanks is given to all that have provided monetary gifts given to the department for immediate usage in supply procurement and immediate expense needs.  The members of the department have given nearly 1000 manhours in fire line work.  Again, the department cannot extend its complete and total appreciation to you.
