Appreciation barbecue held

Front Line Strong and the Perkins County Health Services Foundation hosted a Grab n Go Appreciation barbecue  on September 15th for the front line healthcare workers and the support and administrative staff of the hospital and the medical clinics.

The barbecue, held on the hospital grounds, was a way to say thank you for the countless hours and care these groups have given to our community during the past weeks and months.

The Grab n Go barbecue was made possible by the community’s donations to Front Line Strong and these businesses: In and Out, Hometown Agency and Hatch’s.

Desserts were furnished by the Front Line Strong volunteers and the Epsilon Delta Sorority.

YDC donated their grill and the grillers included Eric McCormick, Todd Kraus and Patrick McGreer. The barbecue was grab n go style and guests could take home meals for their families.

Over 230 meals were packaged by volunteers from Front Line Strong and the PCHS Foundation Board of Directors.

Leftover desserts were shared with the nursing staff at the hospital and the nursing home. It was a great night to celebrate our hometown healthcare heroes!
