August emergency response report from PVFD and PC Ambulance

For the month of August 2025, the Grant Fire Department and Perkins County Ambulance Responded to 18 incidents during the month. The August incidents broke into no fire responses, 3 trauma responses, 3 medical incidents, 0 Cardiac situation, 5 long distance transfer events, 3 motor vehicle accidents, 1 Flight for Life assist, and 3 other EMS incidents.

For the year to date there have been 205 requests for aid, consisting of 46 fire responses, 93 medical emergencies, 40 long distance transfers, 13 Flight For life events, and 12 vehicle accidents and 1 storm watch.

Can you give 5 hours of your time? If you find yourself able to give 5 hours per month to the citizens in our community the fire/ambulance could use you, the 5 hours would consist of 2 hours of monthly training, 2 hours in a monthly meeting and 1 hour in response to the aid of someone needing assistance for an emergency event in our area.
