Bit by bit, block by block

Progress on the new pool in Grant continues to hit major milestones towards a May, 2021 grand opening. Mason Jason Kirkpatrick has been getting some cooperation from Mother Nature to keep the block-laying process going on the new pool bath house. Three of the four walls are to height and he’s hoping weather holds so he can finish the front wall. At that point, the roof can go on and work can continue inside. After the stainless drain system was installed, the last of the concrete inside the pool was poured and remains covered. Backfilling around the pool has also been completed. The cold weather in December didn’t keep contractors from installing the new slide at the southeast corner of the pool. Kids are already anticipating the fun they’re going to have on the slide.
