Blood drive surpasses goal

The Elsie/Madrid Blood Drive held on July 14 surpassed its goal that was set by the American Red Cross, according to coordinators Michele Cutler and Rosalie Curtis. 

Donors were treated to lunch prepared and served by the Elsie Legion Auxiliary. Those volunteering their time and resources were Marian Robertson, John Cutler, Madisyn Cutler and Gareth Giles.

Receiving a $10 Visa Cash Card provided by the American Red Cross were Michelle Ross and Carm Pelster.

The next Elsie/Madrid community blood drive will be held Sept. 2 at the Elsie Methodist Church from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
