FosbInder Fundraiser: A fundraiser for Jason and Amy Fosbinder will be held  Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 5-7 p.m. at the Grant Methodist Church. See ad on page 5 for more information. 

Attorney general: On Thursday, Sept. 14, Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson will be hosting mobile office hours with several members of his staff at the Keith County Senior Center, 202 West 1st Ave. in Ogallala from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Attorney General will visit the senior center from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Afterward, he will be spending the day with local officials, law enforcement and students in the area.

Benefit Dinner: A benefit dinner and auction will be held for Regan Gittlein and his family on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Chase County Fairgrounds at 6 p.m. See ad on page 2 for more information.

Watermelon Feed: A watermelon feed will take place at Madrid Park on Sunday, Sept. 17 from 3-4:30 p.m. See ad on page 6 for more information.
