No School: There will be no school at Perkins County Schools on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 19 and 20. 

Parent Conferences: Perkins County Elementary School parent teacher conferences will be held Thursday, Oct. 19 from noon to 8 p.m. K-2 classroom teachers will schedule times for parents to meet in their classroom. Parents may meet with grades 3-6 teachers in the gym on a first-come-first-serve basis. 

Advising Day: MPCC Ogallala Campus will be hosting Advising and Registration Day on Oct. 19  from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Call 308-284-9830 or email piercem@mpcc.edu for more information. 

Cross country: The Perkins County boys cross country team will compete at the state cross country meet in Kearney on Friday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. MT. 

Fall Dinner: Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church is hosting their fall festival dinner on Sunday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. See page 3 for more information.

Vision Planning: Perkins County members are invited to share their visions for the future of the county at a vision planning meeting and meal hosted by the Perkins County Community Foundation Fund on Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. at Grant Methodist Church. See article on page 3 for more information.
