Time Change: Don’t forget to “fall back” this weekend. When local time reaches 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, turn clocks backward one hour to 1 a.m.

Food Drive: Western States Bank will be hosting a food drive  to benefit the Perkins County Food Pantry. Drop boxes will be located at WSB, The Grant Tribune, Deaver Computer and Hometown Agency from Nov. 6 to Dec. 15. 

Flu shots: Perkins County Health Services is hosting a flu shot clinic on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 5:30-7 p.m. No appointment necessary and self-pay only. 

Veterans Program: The annual Veterans Day program will be on Friday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Perkins County High School. See next week’s issue for more details. 

Holiday Open House: Perkins County’s Holiday Open House will be held Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5-8 p.m. See ad on page 5 and upcoming issues for more details.
