In Brief: Aug. 16-22

TRIBUNE CLOSED: Grant Tribune-Sentinel staff will be on location in the path of totality during the eclipse. The office will be closed the morning of Monday, Aug. 21. We will open late afternoon, pending traffic returning to Perkins County. 

Assessor Updates: The Perkins County Assessor’s Office will be updating their records by taking pictures of all residential property located in the City of Grant. Pictures will be taken during the month of August. See public notice on page 7 for more information.

Sig Deadlines: The Grant Tribune-Sentinel signature ad sign-up sheets are due Friday. Aug. 18. 

DEMO DAY: Western States Bank will be having a digital demo day on Tuesday, Aug. 22. See ad on page 5 for more details. 

Byrd’s Eye View: Dr. Matt Byrd will be live on the Perkins County Health Services Facebook page on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 5:30 p.m. discussing heat-related illnesses.
