Chamber doubles winners in greenback drawings
Greenbacks are available at double the normal amount this year, according to the Perkins County Chamber.
The annual greenback drawings will be held on the first three Saturday’s of December per usual, however, instead of being inside of Hatch’s Super Foods, the drawings will take place in the Hatch’s parking lot to allow for more social distancing.
The Perkins County Chamber of Commerce decided to up the ante this year and double the amount of small prizes available for the sake of perhaps a happier ending for more people, to what has been a long year.
This Saturday, December 5, at 10 a.m. there will be eight $50 winners, and one $250 winner.
As always, those present when their name is drawn win double the prize.
December 12 will look similar, with eight $50 winners, and one $250.
The last Saturday, December 19, there will be eight $50 winners , and one $500 winner, allowing the opportunity for one lucky winner, should they be present, $1000 in Greenbacks.
Sign up forms are located at chamber businesses and can be filled out with each purchase.
COUNTRY SUPPLY
Keeping with the spirit of Christmas and supporting one another, Country Supply will also be hosting a drawing on the first three Saturday’s of December.
Owner Charlene Faber said she wanted to support other area businesses and will be handing out their gift cards for her drawings.
Purchases made at Country Supply during the week will go towards that weekends drawing.
Also available on those Saturday’s, for children 10 and under, Faber will be offering small gifts.
