Community choir gives Easter concert

After four weeks of rehearsal, a community choir led by Judy Kurkowski and accompanied on the piano by Doni Holaway, Janie Colglazier and Winnie Weiss, entertained to a full house at the Congregational Church in Grant on Sunday, April 9. Participants included members of the United Methodist Churches of Grant and Imperial; Zion Lutheran and the Congregational Church in Grant, and members of the Cowboy Capital Chorus. Included in the Easter worship concert were several numbers by the whole group, a solo by Haven Wid, several smaller ensembles and a presentation by Henry and Patricia Potter, founders of L2 for Kids, an organization that purchases clothes for students. The event was coordinated by Venedith Vargas.
