Community Thanksgiving Supper to be held Thanksgiving day

The 37th Community Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Thursday, Nov. 28 at the New Life Fellowship Church, West 4th and Mitchem in Grant. As in previous years, there is no charge for the meal and all are invited.

The meal this year will include turkey, spiral ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and pies, along with iced tea, lemonade and coffee.

Carry-out and home delivered meals will once again be available during the day. Those wanting to utilize this option should call in advance to Jim or Star Kemling at 308-352-4314 or 308-353-0214.

Free-will donations will be accepted to off-set the cost for the meals. Those who wish to give a donation, or who have questions, should call either Jim or Star.
