Three 72-meter wind turbine blades have been parked for several days off the road at the junction of Hwys. 61/23 east of Grant because they can’t make the right-hand corner to go east down Hwy. 23, despite their remote controlled triple-axle dolly wheels at the rear of the blades. The purpose of the wheels can be seen as the blades went through Imperial Friday. As they turned the corner at the Hwy. 6/61 junction, the back wheels are turned by remote control to change the direction the back of the blade travels to make the corner. The blades have journeyed from the Texas coast en route to a wind farm near Milligan, Nebraska.

Cornering not exactly easy task
