County officials attend workshops

Perkins County Clerk Rita Long and Perkins County Treasurer Julie Sestak attend the annual workshops for their respective offices. 

The treasurers meeting was held June 11-13 in York and the county clerk, register of deeds and election commissioners meeting was held on June 12-14 in Kearney.  

The workshops are a part of continuing education and leadership development series and included updates on the recent changes in state laws and provided extensive training on the responsibility of the offices.
