County officials sworn in  

Judge Edward Steenburg swore in the Perkins County elected officials and their appointed deputies on Thursday, Jan. 3 in the Perkins County Courtroom. Officials include (front row, l-r): Clerk Rita Long, Deputy Clerk DeeAnn Tatum, Deputy Treasurer Karrie Dolezal, Treasurer Julie Sestak, Assessor Peggy Burton, Deputy Assessor Kris Aerni. Back row: District 2 Commissioner Ron Hagan, Deputy Attorney Gary Burke, Sheriff Jim Brueggeman, Attorney Rick Roberts and District 3 Commissioner Steve Tucker. The commissioners held their first meeting of 2019 on Monday, Jan. 7, where Tucker was elected chairman.
