Department and Perkins County Ambulance
For the month of December 2025, the Grant Fire Department and Perkins County Ambulance Responded to 16 incidents during the month. The December incidents were divided into 2 fire responses, 3 trauma responses, 1 medical incident, 0 Cardiac situations, 5 long distance transfer events, 1 motor vehicle accidents, 2 Flight for Life assist, and 2 other EMS incidents.
For the year 2025, there were 287 requests for aid, consisting of 62 fire responses, 133 medical emergencies, 58 long distance transfers, 18 Flight For life events, and 15 vehicle accidents and 1 storm watch.
The department members held their annual election on December 1st for the calendar year 2026, elected Chief was Donald Softley, elected Assistant Chief, Fred Reichert, elected Senior Captain was H. Scott Knoles, and elected EMS Captain was Chasity Knoles, appointed Fire Captains were Bryan Koreker and Rick Dreiling, and appointed Fire Lieutenants where Jason Noyes and Travis Ogg, appointed EMS Lieutenants were Travis Ogg, Mathew Deaver and C. Ann Van Lieu. Elected President was Travis Ogg, Vice President Casandra Jooste, Secretary Brandon Lampmann, Treasurer Matt Deaver, elected to the Board of Directors for a 3-year term was Rick Dreling joining previously elected board members Jason Noyes and Rick Ochsner. Membership roster consists of Landon Noyes, Kevin Chavira, Dwight Wiebe, Jon Van Lieu, Jamon Koehn, Jacob Newth, Garret Thompson, Eric Einsphar, Elizabeth Arellano, Cedric Unruh, Carol Ann Van Lieu, Caleb Ensz, Rick Ochsner, Casandra Jooste, Brandon Lampmann, Matt Deaver, Travis Ogg, Jason Noyes, Chasity Knoles, Rick Dreiling, Bryan Kroeker, Scott Knoles, Fred Reichert and Donald Softley
