Eventful month at Meadowlark Gallery Student art, special music, Studio 74 event planned

March is a busy month at Meadowlark Gallery in Grant, as traditionally, Youth Art Month is celebrated with local student talent.

There is still one more weekend to see K-sixth grade projects by Perkins County Elementary students.

Starting March 17, high school art will be showcased.Instructor Tristan Stephenson has led 7th-12th grade art students in projects like scratch art, plaster-made work, watercolors, a few clay projects as well as plenty of drawings and paintings.

“It is fun to see the unique approach and personality each student brings to their own work,” said Stephenson.

He encourages everyone to keep up on student art projects on Artsonia. Find Perkins County Schools on www.artsonia.com/schools/school.asp?id=42553
