Fashion show and tea party held at Westview

Westview Retirement Community Director Ronda Hutt hosted a spring fashion show which was followed by a mother-daughter tea party on Saturday, May 6. With the help of professional model and Elsie native Carlie Sis, several amateur models of all ages walked the catwalk through the dining room at Westview, showing off their favorite spring ensemble to the residents and guests. One of the model favorites was Westview’s own resident, Delores Sexson, who proudly wore her dress from Grand Chapter for Eastern Star around 1965. After a successful fashion show, guests enjoyed a proper tea party with antique cups, saucers and teapots lent to Westview from the Esther Bowen collection, as well as a plethora of finger foods, snacks and desserts provided by Teresa Clouse and Lori Perlinger.
