Four incumbents file for re-election

Friday, Dec. 1 marked the first day candidates could file to be placed on the 2018 election ballot.
According to Perkins County Election Official Rita Long, county seats up for re-election include Assessor Peggy Burton, Attorney Rick Roberts, District 2 Commissioner Bernard Deaver, District 3 Commissioner Steve Tucker, Clerk Rita Long, Sheriff James Brueggeman and Treasurer Julie Sestak.
Of those offices, Deaver, Long, Brueggeman and Sestak, all Republicans, have filed for re-election.
