Fundraising goal exceeded fo Venango meal site

The Perkins County Senior Center is happy to announce that not only did the challenge grant from the Immanuel Vision Foundation get met, it was exceeded. 

Due to a successful fundraiser and the overwhelming generosity of community members, a total of $5,725 has been raised as of July 9. That is $1,475 over the original challenge, and it was done in less than a month. 

The once-a-week meal site in Venango will begin again in September 2019. Not only will the grant allow the meal site to re-open, but also will supply one part-time job. 

Any additional funds raised will go into the project to help with sustainability.
