Gallery featuring quilts from Imperial

On display at Meadowlark Gallery during the month of August are creations by the Crazy Quilt Guild of Imperial. A variety of finished works can be seen, from table runners to bed-sized quilts.

The 18-20 members of the guild, who have sewn together for over 25 years, meet monthly on the second Saturday at the Imperial Community Center, and welcome anyone who has a project they would like to work on, or even is new to the art of quilting and would like to learn. 

Also on display this month are painted barn quilt blocks by Renae Kamler, chairperson of the Fillmore County Barn Quilt Committee, and her children.
