Giveaway to benefit food pantry

Community members have the opportunity to help the food pantry and win an eight-foot stocking full of toys this Christmas season. 

The “world’s largest stocking” will be displayed at Brusters in Grainton, which is owned by Jim and Nikki Armbruster. 

The public can donate a dollar or non-perishable food item now through Dec. 21 for a chance to win the giant stocking and its contents. The food and monetary donations will be given to the Perkins County Food Pantry prior to Christmas Eve.

The stocking giveaway will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 4 p.m., and the winner does not need to be present.  

“We believe this can help others less fortunate this holiday season, and get us all in the Christmas spirit. It is a win/win situation this Christmas,” said the Armbrusters.
