Goal surpassed at blood drive

The Elsie/Madrid Community Blood Drive held on February 6, 2026 surpassed its goal set by the American Red Cross. The Elsie Fire Department prepared and served lunch, and the day was made possible by the dedication of volunteers and donors across our community.

Special thanks to Greg and Mollie Robertson for volunteering their time and resources to support this effort.

Donor gallon milestones reached:

- Karen Giesbrecht — 11 gallons

- Cole Nikkel — 8 gallons

- Mary Callahan — 2 gallons

The next Elsie/Madrid blood drive will be on April 3, 2026, in Madrid at the Madrid City Hall Building.
