Grant City Tree Board to host public meeting

On Oct. 16, the Grant City Tree Board is hosting Amy Seiler, the Western Community Forester Specialist for the Nebraska Tree Forest Service.

Seiler and the tree board will be available at the Hastings Memorial Library meeting room from 1-5 p.m.

Any residents with questions regarding their trees may ask Seiler. If time permits, she may be available to physically inspect the trees. 

At 5:15 p.m., the tree board is planning a brief meeting with business owners.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss concerns about the Central Avenue trees from First to Fifth Streets.
