This scholarship, awarded by the Nebraska Health Care Association, is meant to further education regarding Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Following this training, Graves will be able to teach others how to work with residents who are stricken with different forms of dementia.
She joins a team at Golden Ours who is currently certified in dementia care: Jody Lobner RN DON, Marilyn Regier RN, and Shaun Meyer RN Administrator.
The plan is to begin training all of Golden Ours staff in the coming year.
