According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, state maintenance forces will begin the Highway 23 project on Monday, June 18, starting at the Highway 23/Highway 61 junction at the south end of Grant and continuing 10 miles to Madrid.

The Chase County Highway 61 project will begin Wednesday, June 20 one mile north of Imperial and continue for eight miles.

The work for both projects is anticipated to be completed in mid-July.
