Kenneth Rex Wilson Memorial given to GVFD

Memorial funds in the name of Kenneth Rex Wilson were presented to the members of the Grant Volunteer Fire Department July 6, 2026 business meeting by the family of Rex Wilson.  The funds will be used along with other funds, for the purchase of upgrading fire equipment used in certain specific types of responses by the local fire department. The name of Kenneth Rex Wilson will be engraved on the Memorial Plaque that is on public display in the meeting room of the Grant Volunteer Fire Department in honor of this past member of the fire department and longtime member of the Grant Suburban Fire District Board where Rex served as President of the Board for a vast amount of those years.
