Knoles receives State Firemanship Award
Chasity Knoles, Ambulance Captain of the Grant Volunteer Fire Department was awarded one of the 2025 Outstanding Firemanship Awards during the opening ceremonies of the annual Nebraska State Fire School Friday, May 16th. Chasity is in her l6th year of membership with the Grant Volunteer Fire Department. As a member of the Grant Fire Department Chasity has held the positions of Ambulance Lieutenant and Secretary, currently serving in his 5 year as Ambulance Captain. Chasity is also an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician responding to numerous ambulance request.
The Outstanding Firemanship Award is given annually up to 10 Nebraska Firefighters at the Nebraska State Fire School. This award is in its 66th year and is given by the Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighters Association.
Chasity becomes the twenty fourth member of the Grant Fire Department to receive the Outstanding Firemanship Award.
