Lions helping Lions 

Members of the Grant Lions Club helped provide the workforce for the Imperial Lions Club’s bingo stand at last week’s Chase County Fair. In turn, members of the Imperial club work two nights at the Grant club’s hamburger stand during the Perkins County Fair. Helping each other out at their fair fundraisers has been going on for several years. Working at Saturday night’s bingo stand in Imperial were, (l-r): Grant Lions Edward Dunn, Mackade Skinner and Ted Tietjen. Several other Grant Lions helped out Friday night. Based on gross proceeds, the Imperial Lions had their best four days of bingo ever this year during the Chase County Fair, according to club officers.
