Magnificat Brunch Oct. 13 at Ole’s

Kathy Springer of Crete, will be the featured speaker of the Magnificat Brunch hosted by the Ogallala Chapter, Our Lady of the Harvest on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Springer will be sharing, “Our Life’s Journey—Listening and Responding, at the 9 a.m. event at Ole’s in Paxton.

Springer graduated from St. Cecilia High School in Hastings and Hastings College with a double major. 

She earned a master’s degree in professional accountancy from the University of Texas in Austin. 

She later attended the University of Missouri in Columbia to work toward a PhD in accounting so she could teach. 

While there, an automobile accident caused her life to take a different course. 

The deadline for registration is Monday, Oct. 8.
