Mailand Memorial given to Grant VFD

A monetary memorial gift was given to the Grant Volunteer Fire Department at their Nov. 6 monthly business meeting by the family of Vernon Mailand. 

The generous memorial is being used to purchase replacement upgrades in the extrication/rescue/stabilization equipment used in vehicle accidents, entrapments, structural collapses and multiple farm injury related incidents.

Mailand was a longtime supporter of the department and this memorial is a lasting tribute to his support of helping his fellow man in the time of need.
