Nebraska Purple Heart Veterans Flight May 24

Patriotic Productions has announced the Nebraska Purple Heart Veterans Flight on Friday, May 24.

This flight will include veterans from Desert Storm, Iraq, or Afghanistan who have received a Purple Heart of Bronze Star with Valor. 

The veterans will stop at national memorials including: World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Air Force, Iwo Jima, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Section 60 at Arlington National Cemetery where the Fallen from Iraq and Afghanistan are buried. 

A special stop will include the national traveling memorial created by Patriotic Productions, Remembering Our Fallen, which will be near the Reflecting Pool for Memorial Day weekend. 

The Welcome Home Celebration will be held at approximately 9 p.m. CT in Omaha. The Durham Museum and Old Market will be hosting the patriotic excitement and fun with a parade as the veterans return from Eppley by trolleys.

Patriotic Productions is currently looking for bands, kids’ groups, horses and more to walk in this evening parade.
